With a family event on the horizon, I'm thinking about what that means at this point in time. Sadly, the whole family can't be there which reminds me that I have to treasure those moments when we can all be in the same place. As children grow older and their lives take many directions, it's often not possible to be in the same place at the same time. Though we won't give up trying.
This event will give me a chance to see one son in his college environment and share that experience with another son. We'll likely have a few leisurely meals and take in a few high interest events in the area. Spending time with those I love most is my favorite activity, an activity that can be summarized as family time. Onward.
