A Better America

Yesterday was a very sad and worrisome day in the United States. President Trump incited his band of domestic terrorists to storm The Capitol. These terrorists trespassed, vandalized, threatened and harmed. They obstructed the process to confirm Joe Biden's win as President of the United States and put many, many lives in danger--so much danger that it is now reported that four people died during the incident. Domestic terrorist Donald Trump did not ask his terrorist team to step down, in fact, finally, hours after the terror began and at the request of Joe Biden, Trump did ask them to stop as he empathized with their efforts and called them good people. Trump clearly demonstrated his will to destroy our government and harm Americans--he should be held accountable, removed from office now, impeached and prosecuted for this treasonous behavior.

Reports of social media platforms tied to Donald Trump's domestic terrorism teams and efforts tell that this band of anti-American violent extremists are spreading false propaganda about the incident and planning more violence. This has to be stopped now--our congress and defense teams have to act in multiple ways to end this attack on our country and the people.

What needs to be done?

  1. Remove President Trump from office now. Then impeach him so he can never hold an office again.
  2. Congress needs to work closely with law enforcement to make sure that there is a peaceful transfer of power.
  3. Joe Biden needs to appoint a commission to examine all aspects of this insurrection--as a result of that investigation, those who committed crimes including domestic terrorist Trump need to be held accountable with fines, prosecution, and jail time.
  4. We need to look at this entire insurrection through multiple lenses to make sure that we are not feeding White Supremacist organizations in any way--we have to condemn and end these heinous, destructive, hateful groups.
  5. We have to look at protests with greater scrutiny and outline what a protest is versus terrorism like yesterday's domestic terrorist event.
  6. Get on with the business of improving living and working conditions everywhere in the United States--this democratic president and congress gives us an excellent opportunity to uplift lives today and into the future for ALL.
Good response can happen if everyone gets involved and does their part.
