On January 5th, we awaited the results of a very important election in Georgia--an election that will make the difference with regard to truly helping the people in the United States. The best possible results occurred--Ossoff and Warnock won! The senate flipped to Democratic, and this is good.
On January 6th, we anticipated another superspreader Trump Rally, but we didn't expect the violence that followed that rally. Violence that resulted in a lost life, looting, vandalism, fear, and the obstruction of the certification of the Biden win. We watched President Trump incite this violence.
Now we listen to government officials debate as they certify Biden's win. They are weary, shell-shocked by experiencing the insurrection of Trump's domestic terrorist team--an insurrection that forced our elected officials, Democrat and Republican, to safe spaces in the Capitol. What a waste of energy? What worry?
Biden stepped up with a good speech and leadership. He called on Trump to tell the terrorists to back down. Trump did not answer for a long, long time as the insurrection waged death, harm, destruction, hurt upon many in the Capitol. When he did answer, but his words were full of contempt that incited greater struggle.
Trump is an angry, demented, ignorant fool--a man who wastes our good living, livelihoods, lives, and potential. He's a corrupt individual with a corrupt team. He has to go--I hope his cabinet does the right thing by invoking the 25th amendment and sending him on his way tonight or tomorrow morning. We've had enough of this evil, errant President--this self-serving sloth who has worked against our life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness day in and day out for four years. We're worn out from this grave oppression--it's time for change NOW!
