The dark, dank, cold, harmful, violent Trump hole

Trump pulls us all into his dark, dank, dangerous hole now and then. His immorality, greed, hate, biogtry, lies, propaganda are beyond what most of us have every experienced. He is a true sociopath that could care less whether we live or die. He never shows empathy, admits a mistake, or truly strives to work with others for the greater good. Instead he is the ultimate user and abuser. He takes great pleasure in spreading propaganda and lies to use and abuse the people--it's a sport for him.

It's been a long week for anyone that truly believes in the promise and potential for the United States--anyone who truly wants a country that does offer life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for every individual. We desperately wanted a Democratic win in Georgia--it was unthinkable to imagine the Trumpian Republicans there to win--individuals who, like Trump, used public office to prop up their personal wealth and privilege. It was a long night as the votes rolled in, but thankfully both Ossoff and Warnock won. That was awesome and the result of lots and lots of hard work by many.

Then we awaited certification of the electoral college vote and President Biden's win as President of the United States. Trump has worked against this ever since the election with one lying statement, threat, and slander after another. He was relentless as he looked for voting fraud in multiple ways, and every ploy he tried, failed. The election was accurate--voting officials across the country did their jobs with accuracy and precision. Trump didn't give up--he and his gross team of propagandists and liars continued to spew lies, contempt, and bogus theories--they tricked many into believing their lies, and then started advertising their revolt for January 6th, the day Biden's win was to be confirmed in Congress. He attracted domestic terrorists from many places and gathered them in too-close fashion without masks during a pandemic--it was another one of his hallmark superspreader events, the kind of events where people stand close, spread the disease, and then return home to infect their family members, neighbors, and colleagues. Sadly, there will be deaths due to this. But Trump clearly doesn't care who lives or dies as long as he stays alive--so he riled them up at the Elipse and sent them down to storm The Capitol and threaten the people--he said he would go with them, but once the roughian crowd set off, Trump ran to safety in the White House where he spent hours watching the revolt unfold. He did not ask them to stop, he withheld the National Guard, and he likely gleemed at the result of his plans to upset the Biden confirmation, threaten members of congress, vandalize the center of our democracy, and harm and kill a few people along the way--killing people is typically part of Trump's legacy, whether it is a neglected disease, an errant international decision, or a domestic terrorist plot, his plans often include death and destruction.

I simply can't stand the way Donald Trump sucks us into his hole of destruction--his sociopathic ways are unlike anyone we've known well in this country. He truly is a Hitler, a man without conscience that preys on others to prop himself up day after day after day. He has caused so many good people to work overtime. He has ruined so many lives and fooled so many people. Why can't we get rid of him--we must impeach him now so he can never hold office again. Hopefully the impeachment will also include a loss of all benefits and money too that a President typically earns--we can use that money gained to repair The Capitol and provide support to the police officer's family who lost his life due to Trump violence.

As of now, I'm climbing out of the Trump hole to attend to other matters. I have faith that many in Congress will do what they can to rid our country of this destructive domestic terrorist President who has done nothing but harm our country and people for the past four years.
