The trump team has one agenda and that is to prop up their wealth, power, privilege, and pleasure. The Trump team wants to continue their country-club white privilege at the expense of hard working Americans of every culture, race, gender, and geographical location. When I think of the Trump team, I think of a giant shoe stepping on good people all over America, a shoe that snuffs out our rights, freedom, opportunity, good lands, and good living.
If you stand with Trump, you stand against the ideals, potential, and good living in the United States. The Trump team has proved this time and again as they abuse our hard earned tax dollars, good time, elected offices, lives, and livelihoods for their own gain.
Trump's family members have profited during this time of oppression. Ivanka Trump, who owns trademarks on coffins, likely made a bundle during a pandemic run wild--a pandemic the Trump team llied about and ignored when it came to the safety and welfare of Americans. It was as if they wanted to see people die, so Ivanka could sell more of her coffins. She and her husband Jared, have bought a $30,000,0000 property in the Miami area--a property that seems situated right in the line of climate change havoc, but an expensive property with money they made while in public office. They clearly spent more time making money for themselves, than working for the American people while our hard earned tax dollars footed the bill.
Other self-serving Trumpians have spent the past four years, like Trump, creating havoc rather than helping the American people or working for betterment the world over. They ignored the climate crisis, sold off good public lands, harrassed and belittled good Americans, and skirted or broke the laws for their own gain time and again. All the while they used the hard earned tax dollars we pay in taxes as their personal slush fund for their daily corruption and crime.
It has been an oppressive four years to watch the Trump team abuse their power, ignore their oaths of office, disparage good public servants, reward hateful lawbreakers and criminals, and demonstrate sloth when it comes to problems we face as a people, problems like the pandemic that has robbed us of good living, livelihoods, and lives.
I despise the Trump team mostly because they have wasted our time, money, lives, livelihoods, and great potential as a country. It has been four years of backstepping into a more prejudiced, hateful, divided, and harmful country--one that people all of the world mock thanks to Trumpian self-serving ignorance, irresponsibility, and corruption.
Thankfully many, many good Americans have spoken up and stepped up to make a difference. They've worked within the law for change in tireless, creative fashions, and finally the fruits of their labor are shining through with a win for President-elect Joe Biden, Vice-President elect Kamala Harris, Georgia senator Reverend Warnock, and a likely win for Georgia's Ossoff. This hard work is also exemplified in Joe Biden's many good choices for public leaders at the national level--leaders who have long, positive, knowing experience when it comes to working with and for the American people and countries across the world in positive ways. Stories of Abram's, Harris', and Warnock's rise have inspired countless Americans to get involved in politics and service. They have demonstrated that work for the common good is positive and can uplift lives.
I am hopeful for the days ahead. I know that there are many debates ahead as our country's leaders decide what to do about protecting our natural lands and resources, improving education quality and support, making quality health care accessible to all, and supporting stronger, more united, and positive communities. There are so many awesome ideas out there--ideas that are directed toward lifting us up as a people. I will be listening to those ideas, and supporting the people and ideas that my research shows to be good for all now and into the future. I will also feel relieved to have good leaders in place which allows me to spend my time investing in positive work that I can do.
This is a day of promise, a day that gives us hope.
