Today I'll review a large number of factors to understand a loved one's options well. I'll look into the costs, safety factors, and good living available via these factors. As I think about this, I am thinking about what's important.
For my loved one, what's important is that they have the best quality of life possible--their days should be safe, loving, and positive.
What can I do? I can be a regular support, but I don't have the skill to provide my loved one with all they need.
When I think of my loved one's care, it's helpful to put myself in their shoes. When I'm at a point when I need a lot of care, I won't expect my closest loved ones to be able to have the expertise needed, but I hope that they'll visit me now and then to stay connected.
Our next step is to explore the options available with as much research and knowledge as possible. Onward.
