See the best in people

Sometimes we can be tempted to characterize an individual by their worst traits rather than their best traits. I want to avoid that dismal perspective as much as possible. If you've been surrounded by negative or overly critical people, you may have learned to see the bad more often than the good that a person represents. I want to focus on the good.

The more you are open to people's positive traits and investments, the more opportunities and good living open up to you as well as the people you see in such a promising light. For example as an educator, when you have a strengths-based focus with regard to students, you are always creating, finding, and promoting positive efforts and experiences for that child which, in turn, helps that child to learn in positive, life enriching ways. The same is true for any relationship where you choose to focus on the positive rather than the shortcomings.

It's a positive lifeway to see the best in people, a lifeway that promotes greater peace and positivity. Onward.
