Should you examine the details?

I like to take things apart and scrutinize the details. I like to play with ideas using multiple perspectives and pathways. Analysis is a sport for me, one that I look forward to.

Many do not enjoy analysis. Instead they choose to quickly make decisions without a hard, detailed look at the facts. They tend to live more than think. Is this better or worse? Neither. We all approach live differently.

Yet, to layer deep and ever changing analysese on those who prefer to live free from all that think is clearly a way to suffocate relationships. You have to understand who, like you, enjoys great analyses and who does not because to promote the web that analyses creates traps those who are disinterested and leads to often false and sometimes dangerous conclusions.

When it comes to who we are and who we connect with, we have to recognize that we have multiple sides and connect with people in many, different ways. To figure out the sweet spots of our connections is one way to build strong, lasting relationships. Yet, without that perspective, we're likely to weigh our relationships down in ways that diminish and harm the good possible. Onward.
