I spent the night immersed in professional analysis and thought, a night I should have been spending getting a good sleep. However, I knew that I needed to reach some good conclusions about a professional matter if I was to avail myself to those I love during a special weekend event. At 3:10, I reached a good conclusion, and now I'm ready to embrace the weekend ahead.
What matters this weekend is that I take the time to really notice, hear, and be with some people I love deeply. These people of many ages and relationships to me are people who have been in my life for a long time and mean a lot to me. They are amongst the treasured people of my life and I want to give them good time and care.
As I think about what matters in life. I return to a few staples including a welcoming home, people you love, a profession that provides for your family and if possible allows you to contribute to your world in a positive, inspiring, and joyful way, natural beauty, good health, adventure, and of course, happiness.
So I'm officially switching gears from the professional realm to the personal realm. I'll relax for a bit as I travel, then enjoy those I love. Onward.
