Many Paths

My sister and I discussed the many paths our children are taking, paths marked by outdoor adventures, multiple jobs, goals achieved, challenges, relationships, and pursuits.

Our children are branching out into a number of directions, directions impacted by their studies, friends, geography, and personal interests and ambitions.

What will the future hold for these young adults?

What can we do to support them?

The answers to this question remain the same:
  • welcoming homes
  • shared traditions and celebrations
  • listening ears
  • advice if warranted, desired, needed, or available
  • an open mind and open heart to their calls and paths
  • joyful care and support
As I always say, our children take us down paths we never imagined, but paths that are filled with adventure, growth, and joy if we are open to them. Onward.
