We all need something to look forward to

The hard work we do profits from having something to look forward to. I was reminded of this recently when a family member planned a fun summer event. The event got everyone talking about the positive challenge ahead--a time to get together to share in a long-held family tradition in the mountains with plenty of lead time to save up, make reservations, and get in shape for the trek. Since I wasn't involved in the planning, I had the luxury of seeing just how much happiness emanated from this early planning with a focus on family fun and togetherness. Having something to look forward to is a great way to help you get through the hard work ahead in your day-to-day life.
