What makes you err?

As I read Twitter posts, which I often do to wake up my mind in the morning, I was reminded of the reasons why we err--the landscapes that create error and mistakes.

Exhaustion
When you're really tired, you make mistakes.

Lack of Wise, Experienced, and Positive Mentoring and Leadership
If you're the child of cheats, colleague of selfish mentors, friend of criminals and crooks, you're like to make more mistakes as you've been nurtured with errant leadership.

Poverty and Desperation
While desperation and poverty can make you more sensitive and wise, it can also limit your potential to reflect, contribute, and expand your horizons. When you don't have enough money or time to provide yourself with new experiences, education, and opportunity for reflection, it's easier to make mistakes. That's why we have to provide people with the essential elements of good living, elements that give all people good time, enough money, health care, education and other supports that allow people to live as well as they can.

Little Loving Support
Without the support of loved ones, people who are willing to guide you, help you, and speak up when you're on the wrong track, you are more likely to make mistakes.

Less Listening and Empathy
When you talk more than listen and have little empathy, errors follow.

No Reflection
When we don't take time to reflect, we make more mistakes.

Unhealthy Routines
When our lifestyles our unhealthy, we make mistakes.

There's lots of reasons why we make mistakes. And for well intentioned people, most errors are caused by the elements above and unknowing too. Our mistakes, as we know, are a natural part of living and a good way to learn too. Yet, we can eliminate many harmful errors by good living, and this makes life better.
