Disappointed: New Hampshire Primary

I am disappointed with the New Hampshire primary results because my first choice, Elizabeth Warren, did not win. Warren has been a tireless patriot working for the rights of all Americans day after day. She's also been a determined candidate crossing the country and working persistently to earn voter's support without the support of big money. Her commitment to running a grass roots campaign means that she doesn't have the big ads during prime time or the fancy offices in downtowns. I support Warren because I believe she has the intelligence, energy, vision, and collaborative spirit to lead our country ahead. I will continue to support her candidacy while I keep abreast of what is happening with regard to all of the candidates.

It is a challenging time for Americans who value our country's laws, justice, and equality. There are many dedicated, hard working Democratic candidates in the race--many who want to uplift the lives of Americans and work against the lawlessness, prejudice, dishonesty, and cheating Trump and his team of self-serving cronies and family members promote.

I hope that Americans will understand how Trump jeopardizes good living with his self-serving efforts to elevate his personal wealth and power by rolling back environmental protections, elevating the national debt to debilitating heights, working in lawless ways, and creating worrisome and seemingly traitorous alliances with foreign leaders with records of human rights violations. Trump puts the American people in danger and continuously lies about his record to trick his followers who appear to be satisfied with short term gains and Trump's lies about his record and ambition.

We can do better and it is my hope that this trying Democratic race will result in a promising, positive candidate in November 2020.
