It was a productive morning of professional work.
Trump's Whitehouse briefing made my blood boil once again. I just wish he would step aside and let the experts lead us during this pandemic. As you know from reading my blogs, I believe he is a self-serving, ignorant, untruthful, bigoted, and disrespectful leader. He appears to put the wealth, power, and popularity of himself, his family members, and a few wealthy cronies ahead of well being for all in our country. His leadership goes against everything I've stood for and worked for my entire life.
Our home is peaceful--everyone is busy with work and personal pursuits. We come together to watch the news, share a meal, enjoy a film, and talk. That is good.
Some older extended members of my family are not taking this seriously. I know they are afraid, but I wish they would follow the dictates of experts. To spend time with them means risking my own well being since they are not sheltering in place enough or taking enough care during this crisis. This is out of my hands at this time, but remains a worry.
I have a huge list of projects to work on and time to do that.
Our statewide leadership is intelligent, collaborative, compassionate, and communicative--this is good. This is positive.
Some people I know are really stressed and they are exhibiting this stress in many different ways. I'm trying to stay patient, helpful, and compassionate in the face of this stress.
Onward.
