Stay-at-home days: doing those jobs you've put off

These stay-at-home days have both advantages and disadvantages.

An advantage of going to work every day is that you're too busy to notice all the little jobs that need to be done in your home, thus a disadvantage of staying home is that you do notice all those little jobs waiting to be done. Furthermore, you also notice that what you think of as "little jobs" are time consuming tasks.

Yet, an advantage of being home is the opportunity to do those jobs. I believe that most of us probably have a long list of "little jobs" to complete. My list includes the following:
  • photo sort
  • paperwork organization
  • painting
  • fixing broken items
  • garden work
  • clothes organization
The list goes on and on, and none of the tasks are all that exciting, but to complete those tasks now will bring satisfaction in the long run.

Prior to a family celebration this past winter, I did a number of those dull, but needed, jobs and I must say I'm grateful that those jobs are done each day as my home is leaner and more welcoming. This is good.

Hence, it's time to get started. What jobs will you do today?
