Summer plans revised

A recent family reunion demonstrated that it's great to get together with those you love, but it can be difficult to connect with many family members at once in safe and comfortable ways.

As the summer moves forward, I'll connect professionally via digital venues, and connect with loved ones both digitally and in-person with small groups rather than big gatherings. This is safer and more comfortable during the pandemic.

As I learn about the pandemic, I continually revise summer plans. This is the latest agenda:

Caretakers
I have many appointments to catch up on personal health in the weeks ahead. I often catch up on these appointments in the summer months.

Book Group
I'm meeting with a group of readers to discuss White Fragility weekly. I love learning with and from this bright group of women.

Reading, Reflection, and Writing
I read, write, and reflect daily. I love to do this. I love to research, think, and write about life's challenges and opportunities.

Nature Time
I love getting outside especially in beautiful, remote places to walk, swim, or bike ride.

Picnics
This is the summer of the picnic--that's the best way to get together with people you love.

Cooking
A definite silver lining to the pandemic has been the opportunity to develop my ability to cook delicious, healthy food.

House Cleaning and Updates
This is a good time to clean the house and make simple updates.

Gardening
My garden is growing and we're beginning to enjoy the fruits of our labor with delicious, home grown foods.

The pandemic is changing all of our lives. We have to continually re-look at what this means for good living for ourselves, those we love, and those we work for and with. What's on your agenda?
