You can only spend so much time in limbo

In many ways I've been stuck in limbo as multiple stakeholders discuss school plans for the fall. Limbo is mostly an unproductive place to be. Yet, at times, to be stuck in limbo prompts you to research and reflect making you more informed about the potential next steps or next places.

But, you can only spend so much time in limbo, and then you have to make a decision. I remember a long time ago when a loved one was in relationship limbo. She didn't know what to do, and finally after a period of reflection, she made a positive move, one that has served her well her entire life.

Limbo, that uncertain period of awaiting a decision or resolution, is mostly an uncomfortable place to be. In fact, limbo can stymy and shackle us in ways that waste our time and potential. No matter how positive or productive you want to be, if there's an unresolved issue hanging over your head, it has an affect on you.

So today, I hope, for the most part, I am breaking free from the limbo I've been mired in for the past month. I hope that I am beginning to see a new, positive direction that will energize my potential and next steps.

You can only spend so much time in limbo before you simply have to make a move.
