Labor Day marks the first of several holidays to come during the Pandemic. How will we still have fun and enjoy each other's company during these special times despite pandemic limitations?
Labor Day
Our family will spend one day biking and another day hosting my parents for our traditional Sunday dinner. We'll use safe pandemic behaviors such as wearing masks, washing hands, and mostly being with others outside. We may include an outdoor friend get-together too.
Fall Travel
As we did this summer, we will adventure away from home now and then in safe ways. We'll pack our lunches, secure lodging that is clean and safe, and mostly engage in healthy, outdoor activities.
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years
We'll celebrate with small groups, good foods, shared events, and likely include ZOOM events and outdoor adventures.
The pandemic challenges all of us to live differently, but with forethought and preparation, we can continue to build and strengthen our valued connections and care with and for one another.
