Passenger

Some of us are mostly drivers in life. We take the wheel, steer the car, decide on the speed, and figure out where we want to go and how to get there. Others, at the far end of the continnum are passengers--these people go along for the ride, support the driver, and let the travels begin. Of course, most people are both drivers and passengers in life, not one or the other.

If you've been mostly a driver, the switch to passenger is a big, but not necessarily, a bad change. It means that, for once, you are letting go of the wheel and letting someone else steer for a change. To be a passenger, may mean that you are able to enjoy the scenery more and make some time to day dream, reflect, and ponder.

There are good times to drive, and good times to be driven. To recognize that difference, is to make space for good living in many ways. Onward.
