Today I'm committed to doing a number of dull jobs. I could hire someone to do those jobs, but I don't want to spend that money. Plus I think it's good for you to do some of those dull jobs as it builds humility and understanding about what it takes to keep a good home and work hard.
I'd say that there's probably a fair number of dull jobs in every position in life, and while we wouldn't want a life filled only with dull jobs, those jobs are necessary steps to achieving the vision/goals you have.
I read a number of articles about the jobs, and once I have the house to myself, I'll increase the volume on the radio, play my favorite songs, and get to the needed tasks. Similar to the dull jobs I completed last week, I know that there will be a great sense of satisfaction when I get to the other side.
