On Twitter I follow a variety of people. Many that I follow are experts in their political, professional, and intellectual fields. They know a lot more than me.
Sometimes I believe that these experts forget that some are not as schooled or priveleged as they are. Many of these great intellects and experts are great because they were nurtured by family members and communities who were rich and powerful dreamers--individuals who understood the power of passion, education, and expertise. As I study great people, I understand that much of their power came from those before them--people who emulated drive, persistence, and love of knowledge. The best among us represent generations of strength, commitment and passion.
So as I read these individuals' tweets, articles, and sometimes, books, I am both challenged and inspired. I wonder how they can make their truths more accessible to the masses, and how they might forward their ancestral threads of strength, perseverance, and knowledge to more of us.
I want to think more about this topic. Please inspire me with your related understanding, knowledge, advice, and links so I can learn more.
