What will you do to better your life and the lives around you--what potential exists in this realm, and how will you translate that potential into action?
Acknowledge and prioritize problem areas
To make better, you have to first acknowledge the problems that exist then prioritize those problems in order of need or desire for betterment.
Start with Research
Start improving the areas that need time/effort with research. Research and study the problem area, then create an action list. Fortunately there's all kinds of good, expert advice available via the Internet. I suggest typing in a specific sentence about the problem on Google to see what comes up. Then read a few articles. When you begin to see information trending, go a little deeper by finding the best suggestions from trusted experts.
Envision the Resolve
Write a description and/or draw a picture of the solution--this provides a goal for your hard work. Our brains remember images more, so a picture might be better than words.
Work towards the solution, stop and reflect along the way
As you work towards betterment, make time to stop, reflect, and revise your work as needed.
Work with others
Often working as part of a team makes betterment work more successful and accessible.
Make betterment work part of your weekly schedule
Carve time out to work toward these betterment goals. Chart your success as well. Celebrate small wins. Even with regard to big societal problems, we can do our part with local efforts.
There is great satisfaction in working for betterment, and if we take a logical and steady approach to this work, we will achieve wonderful results.
