I'm thinking a lot about good living these days. I'm adding items to my good living list. If you created a good living list, what would you add?
Safe bike rides/hikes in beautiful natural lands
This is a top activity for me--when you can bike or hike a beautiful, safe road or bike path through natural lands, there's a terrific sense of exhilaration. This is a keeper. I hope our country will support the addition of more beautiful, safe bikeways/hikeways throughout the country.
Healthy, natural foods
Good foods keep you healthy, taste great, and make you feel good. To find local sources of healthy, nutritious foods is a great way to add to good living. Erring on the side of more fruits and vegetables is a positive way to think about and prepare foods.
Well made, natural-fabric clothes
Your body feels better when your clothes are made well out of the best fabrics. There are too many cheap, uncomfortable fabrics out there and clothes that are not well made. Quality is better than quantity here.
Equipment for active living
Purchasing a few items for positive, active living leads to good living. Purchasing a good boat, kayak, hiking boots, cross country skiis, and/or other items that help you to have safe, satisfying outdoor adventures makes a positive difference.
Earth-friendly purchases/routines
Reducing plastic, composting plant waste, carry-in-carry-out, and buying quality rather than quantity can help you to live in Earth-friendly ways. Living in Earth-friendly ways not only protects the environment, but also elevates your experiences in life.
Healthy routines
Too many routines related to "fun" are unhealthy. It's important to review your routines in order to make those routines healthier which will also make those routines happier.
I'm on the search for good living--it's a positive quest. What's on your good living list? I'm sure that I'll continue to add to mine.
