When Joe Biden wins the Presidency, he will inherit a dilapidated house. The last four years began with Trump's will for quick-fix solutions with his team of cronies, family members, and criminals. They partied hard as they spent American dollars to have a good time, take care of friends, and elevate their wealth, power, and privilege. And just like any group that parties hard with no regard for what has to be done, they've left the house dilapidated and infected, and they themselves are run down and sick.
Joe Biden will have a lot of cleaning up to do after this erratic, irresponsible, self-serving Trump crowd leaves the White House. Where will he begin?
Cleaning and Repair
Similar to anyone who inherits a dilapidated house, he will begin with lots of cleaning and repair. He'll get rid of the teams of cronies, criminals, and family members, and replace those with a diverse team of experienced best and brightest public servants--people willing to work for the American people rather than themselves.
He'll have to rid the house of infection too. Working with medical and scientific experts, he'll find ways to get the country's health back on track so we don't continue to lose so many good people everyday.
And of course, he'll have to go through every nook and cranny of this house to figure out what happened, and to pay the unpaid bills, repair the broken policies, restore fidelity to every administrative team, and get the house back into working order.
A Plan for Renewal
Once the initial clean up and repair is done, he'll have to begin putting new routines in place to keep the house in working order throughout his term and after that. As a good man, he won't be satisfied with leaving the next President with such a mess as he knows that messes like this are costly. He knows that when you party hard and neglect the work that has to be done, you don't do anyone any good, so he'll do a lot better than the Trump team who have proved themselves to be irresponsible, costly, and deadly tenents.
