Last October I walked through vibrant, busy, spirited Washington, DC streets. We explored museums, visited restaurants, and enjoyed the stories from our son and his college classmates.
This year's visit was much different. DC is clearly less vibrant, there are signs looking for tenants everywhere, restaurants are closed and struggling, and the college kids are making the best of what is a tough situation lacking socializing, sports, in-person classes, campus activities, and more.
Trump's irresponsiblity, ignorance, and lack of care for the American people is evident--he has failed as President of the United States which doesn't surprise me because instead of doing the hard work of public service, he chose to be a self-serving showman instead.
Don't forget:
- Trump ignored pandemic warnings.
- Trump disbanded the pandemic health team.
- Trump mocked and ignored the experts--scientists/doctors who have dedicated their lives to this science.
- Trump did nothing to improve America's health care.
- Trump did not act in time--the few things he did do came late, were meant for show alone, and were not done well.
- Trump continues to mock the pandemic by ignoring public health precautions.
- Trump, himself, led a superspreader event at the White House leading to the illness of himself and others.
- Trump got sick, but had the world's best health care which was not true for so many who lost their lives to this virus.
Day after day, Trump lies, exaggerates, and puts-on his snake oil salesman show--he's been a waste of lives, livelihoods, time, money, and potential for the United States.
Trump has failed as President of the United States.
Trump doesn't have the intelligence, will, or ethics to work as a good leader--he is a loser and has put our country in a losing position in so many ways.
Vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as step one to recovery, to placing the USA back on track.
