There is a slow food movement that works against the USA quick-fix, fast-action culture. This movemente is all about eating better and being healthy. The pandemic limitations have supported movements like this since we've had more time to slow down, and I've been thinking about the concept of slow change too. Too often we try to make change all at once--change that is too fast to make significant impact. I'm beginning to notice that, in some areas, slow change may be better.
What is slow change?
Slow change is making change one step at a time, it is incremental change. Slow change happens in ways that does spell significant, thoughtful impact.
In what areas will I embrace slow change, and how will I do it?
I will make a step-by-step plan, chart my progress, finesse the efforts, and move lowly towards positive change. Onward.
