Stuck in outdated lifeways

One of the greatest challenges in life is that we get stuck in old lifeways, mindsets, and behaviors--lifeways, mindsets, and behaviors that may have served humankind well in the past, but that are clearly outdated and ineffective now. How do we modernize our collective lifeways, mindsets, and behaviors in ways that help us right our individual and collective journeys towards the goals and vision we have?

Learning

To update lifeways, mindsets, and behaviors, we have to learn--a regular habit of effective learning is necessary.

Apt Communication

We also have to update the ways we communicate to match modern communication tools/processes and to communicate effectively, honestly, and with humanity.

Experience

We have to make sure that we broaden our experience in ways that support both a broad and detailed perspective about matters.

Imagination

We have to use our imaginations and seek out sources that develop our ability to imagine.

Collaboration

With most events, we are better together. We have to hone our abilities to collaborate.

Decision Making

We have to revise and update the processes we use to make effective decisions.

Assessment, Analysis, and Revision

We have to strengthen and modernize our ability to assess, analyze, and revise.

In many ways, life won't change until we willfully update our lifeways, mindsets, and attitudes. This should be a top priority for individuals and organizations.
