More than anything else, what frustrates me is that which wastes time or potential. As I've noted time and again, everywhere I look I see potential for betterment, and to make that betterment a reality requires that we find ways to use our time and capacity constructively. When people waste our time, we don't have the time we need to make that potential a reality.
As an educator, wasted time and potential were the situations that frustrated me most. There was always a lot to do, and sometimes there were useless initiatives and jobs layered on our days that prohibited that potential. I worked against that as much as possible.
Right now, the fact that President Trump is firing people, sending conspiracy tweets, and spewing hate in all directions is a huge time waster when it comes to the peaceful transfer of power and the potential our country holds to work for better living. Throughout his term, President Trump has been a tremendous time and money waster as he focused most energy towards his own personal gin rather than abiding by his oath of office to work for the health and welfare of the American people.
No matter where we stand in society, we have to value the time we have, and use that time to promote the good as much as possible. To use our time to obstruct the promise and potential possible is a great opporession to all in your midst. Onward.
