We've all been students in the Trump school during the past four years, and what have we learned?
Be wary of the company you keep
Trump's team of crooks and cronies have done no one any good.
Tell the truth
Trump, perhaps the World's Book of Record's winner for the most lies, has demonstrated the deadly and destructive power of lies, and the resulting hate and lack of respect lying brings to your life.
Get to know the people
Trump doesn't know us and he doesn't care to know us. This is a great failing for him, because the more we know one another, the better we can serve and care for each other.
Work hard
Trump is not a hard worker. He is a dedicated liar, manipulator, and con-artist, but he doesn't work hard at the problems that exist. This lack of hard work has harmed our country in many ways--his sloth and lethargy has left many problems unmet and, even worse, made greater.
Respect the experts
Sadly Trump thinks he has greater knowledge than most experts. He does not respect the experts and this has mired and hindered any efforts to make better in our country.
Collaborate
Trump does not collaborate well at all--he tries to do it alone, and is wholly ineffective in that regard.
Be a good team member
Trump only wills that team members do what he says, as a non-collaborator, he has been a poor team member who often ridicules, makes fun or, and doesn't support those on his team unless they are doing everything he tells them to do.
Love your family well
To love your family is to make them proud, to do the right thing, and to encourage them to do the right thing to. Trump is an embarrassment to his family, particularly to his young son and grandchildren who are still innocent. He has laid a disastrous path for his adult children who are fully entangled in all of his corruption.
Be humble
Trump never admits a flaw, blames and shames others, and tells us time and again that he's got the monopoly on truth and smarts. Of course, we know that this isn't true, and that Trump's lack of humility is one of his greatest flaws. None of us have the monopoly on truth and smarts, and most of us know that to live a good life requires humility, and to be humble is to have empathy, compassion, and understanding for one another.
I'm sure I'll think of other lessons from the backwards, destructive, and dangerous Trump School we've all been apart of in the last four years--lessons that show us what not to do rather than who to be and what to do for good living.
