The holiday has arrived after a month of mostly festive preparation and cheer. Now we can simply follow the unusual, pandemic two-day holiday schedule we've created including a hike, nice dinner, present exchange, ZOOMs, a chess tournament, television movies/games, and another dinner. I feel fortunate to be able to spend these days with a small group of loved ones in real time and our extended family members online (if we have power--high winds are forecasted which could upset people's electricity).
The focus now is simply to love the ones you're with and reach out in some way to those you want to connect with, but can't see in real time. Merry Christmas to all!
