The holiday this year is unpredictable. With COVID and weather threats, the plans keep changing. There's nothing that you can totally plan on, so the only good way to plan for this Christmas holiday is to have the ingredients on hand for a flexible and fun holiday celebration.

I have a few meals in mind for the holiday so I'll purchase the ingredients and make the meals that match the gift baskets and at-home meals I hope to prepare.
Music/Shows/Games
Last night we listened to great music as we played games at home. We also watched a funny and touching sitcom that we've been enjoying, Kim's Convenience On Christmas Day we plan to watch a classic Scrooge film. Go-to entertainment that's fun and family-friendly is a good option this holiday.
Simple gifts that bring cheer
I've opted for simple homemade gifts and gifts that give people something to do that's fun and entertaining.
Safety
We've reduced our risk factor greatly by keeping a very small pod of people we're celebrating with indoors and a few more that we plan to visit with during outdoor hikes. While not ideal, we're working for long term health by lowering our risks this season.
