I am so happy that the inauguration events were safe, inclusive, positive, and uplifting. I am grateful to the inaugural committee for planning such a wonderful event in spite of so many threats and pandemic limitations. As one individual commented on Twitter, in many ways, the event was more inclusive and open to all Americans--this was positive.
I am also so happy with the work that President Biden has done to start his term--work that puts the safety, health, and happiness of people and work with our allies across the globe center stage. This is also good.
And, I am relieved to know that there are many people running the country that are dedicated, experienced, skilled, and committed to American ideals and the United States Constitution--this is good too.
So, what does this mean for me. It means more time and energy to do the good work needed to move ahead in life--the laundry list of needed effort and activity is long, necessary, and personal including a number of tasks that will ready me for the next chapter in life. I'm excited for this--ready to do the good work possible. Onward.
