It is easy to turn your back on the mountains you face.
It is easy to ignore the challenges that hold you back.
Yet, we will never regret turning around, facing the mountain, and ascending that life challenge step-by-step.
Some face mountains earlier in life, and in many ways, those that faced and ascended mountains successfully as children are often stronger as adults.
Some of us face our first mountains when we're older. We're less equipped for mountains that we face for the first time as adults, but nevertheless, we can't ignore those mountains--we must face them, and ascend their heights.
How does one climb a steep mountain, a daunting life challenge?
You climb it with one positive step after another, one good act and decision after another.
To move with positive choice and action is to move ahead no matter how small those decisions and actions are.
So as I face a new mountain--a mountain that many would consider small, but for me is giant, I will give myself the time and grace to take this mountain one step after another. Let's see where this journey takes me.
