I cannot understand why anyone would not hold a public official accountable for staging and inciting a deadly domestic terrorist insurrection that resulted in murder, injury, terror, vandalism, looting, and obstruction of justice. Why not?
Why does anyone think it is okay for a President of the United States to outwardly stage and incite violence that results in murder of American citizens?
Why is it okay for the President of the United States to stage and incite the fourth deadliest domestic terror event during his term?
Why can a President who is a sore loser be allowed to act out on the American people in multiple ways that obstruct a peaceful transfer of power by creating a deadly and dangerous transfer of power instead? Why is that okay?
As long as people do not hold Trump accountable for his deadly, destructive, costly, and despicable crimes, crimes like that will continue by Trump, Trump associates, and others. If we don't act, we signal approval for this kind of deadly violence. This is wrong.
It is right to convict Donald Trump of high crimes and misdemeanors. It is right to hold our United States Constitution, country, and welfare of the people high by showing the world we will not allow the deadly, anti-American, violent behaviors Trump and his cronies supported and carried out.
We must do the right thing. Please call your senators and ask them to convict Donald Trump, the President who staged and incited the murder of American citizens, the injury of American citizens, terror and threats to all that work in the Capitol including all members of Congress, vandalism and looting at our nation's Capitol, and obstruction of justice that aimed to block confirmation of Joe Biden's win in a free and fair election.
He is a criminal and he should be held accountable. Convict Trump.
