Are political leaders asking the right questions?

As I consider the words that trickle down from the media and government exchanges, I'm wondering if we are taking the time to ask the right questions.

For example, I'm curious about Marjorie Taylor Greene, and I am wondering about the following questions:

  • What does she think about the picture of her with a gun pointed at three members of Congress--why would she allow such a photo to exist? What does this photo represent about her beliefs, actions, and hopes for the United States?
  • Why did Greene call deadly massacres hoaxes, lies? What purpose did that serve?
How can we ask errant leaders to describe their choices for the whole country to hear in ways that are direct? How can we get underneath these dangerous and destructive acts in transparent, explicit ways?
