There have been many "not what you expected" weeks during this pandemic year. For example, last week started with a preplanned ZOOM birthday party for a loved one and ended up with a health emergency for another family member. The week was spent navigating that health emergency which created all kinds of unexpected twists and turns. On the bright side, medical staff were awesome and the family pitched in to ease the effects of the illness for all with visits, phone calls, research, and other details that created support.
It has also been a crazy weather pattern of somewhat unpredictable snow, ice, and rain which has upset plans somewhat too--more of a weather nuisance than a crisis of any kind.
What will this week bring? Plans make me expect a week of getting a lot of those onorous, detail jobs done as I'm trying to complete lots of those kinds of chores during these what-I-hope-to-be final pandemic months--months with little people-to-people interaction or real time cultural events. The overall focus is a focus on health routines and the kind of family love and support that puts me on a path to some of my greater goals. Onward.
