Last week I had trouble finding the joy in a situation--why?
Primarily it was because I needed an attitude shift. What worked in the past would not work anymore--it's time for change, and change will bring the joy back.
So as I embark on a new week, I'll bring to it an open mind with regard to my expectations and responses. I'm not exactly sure how to bring the joy to a situation I'm involved in, but that will be my quest. I've done a lot of reading about the topic and I'll use that research to figure out how to bring the joy.
As I looked back in time at joyful moments, I thought a lot about how I might bring joy to my life in meaningful and valuable ways. There's the tried-and-true methods such as gathering with loved ones for a shared meal or celebration, an adventure in a beautiful natural setting, creating, and enjoying terrific performances. Yet, where else can I find and/or create the joy in life--what other ways might I en-joy life.
Seeking joy is a wonderful quest--one I'll engage in as I move ahead. Onward.
