Hope is here

 Hope is here.

Hope is here because once again we have a working Executive Branch, and by working, I mean we have an Executive Branch in the United States that is working with and for the people of this country. Our Executive Branch including President Biden, Vice President Harris, and their chosen, appointed cabinet and administrators are doing the good work possible to lift lives and develop our country in positive, people-centered, law abiding, honest, and good ways. This is positive. This is hopeful.

For too long, Donald Trump and his heinous cronies abused the American people day after day with lies, lethargy, self-serving efforts to singly prop up their wealth, power, pleasure, and privilege rather than work for the rights and opportunities of all Americans. They relentlessly used propaganda to manipulate, trick, and gather people in ways that helped them abuse their power and harm so many people in the United States. Most of us are significantly wounded after Trump's terrorist and traitorous years as President of the United States. Because of the Trump team's self-serving, ignorant, lazy ways, people were senselessly killed, harmed, oppressed, manipulated, and abused. We have to work against this kind of oppression in everyway we can going forward. What can we do?

Support Voter's Rights

We all have to look to Stacey Abrams as a leader in this endeavor. What she did in Georgia saved our country from Trump team terror and ruin. She knows the way, and we have to understand what she did and follow her lead. We have to look for ways to support ready access to the vote for every American.

Elect Officials Who Want to Serve the People in Honest, Knowledgeable Ways

Most of us pay a lot of money in taxes, and we want that money to make a positive difference in our country. Most of us want to pay elected officials a fair wage to serve the American people in honest, knowledgeable, positive ways. We have to be good consumers when it comes to how we vote and who we support. We cannot allow racist, hateful, lazy self-servers to slip through the cracks in any district, but instead we have to help people in every district elect people who will work for them and their best interests--people who wil work for our entire country and our best interests too.

Acknowledge the good, and work against the bad

Take time to show gratitude and acknowledge the good that people around you including your elected officials do, and speak up when something is going wrong. Recently in Massachusetts the sign-up for vaccines was a botched system--it wasn't working. I wrote to several elected leaders to express my dismay and to share some potential ideas for improvement. On the other hand, the vaccine site where I got my vaccine was working perfectly--the positivity, organization, and professionalism of the work to vaccine everyone was remarkable. I also let my public officials know about that. When we're all paying attention by acknowledging the good and helping to reroute the bad by speaking up we support the hope that is so good for our country.

Use hope as an avenue for better

President Biden, Vice President Harris, our Democratic Congress, and good state and local leaders across the country are helping us in multiple ways. This is good. This is hopeful. But this won't last, if we don't look ahead and find ways to work for continued good leadership. We must rid our government of the lazy, self-serving, bigoted, narrow-minded politicians that only work for a wealthy few rather than all Americans. For every public office, we must work hard to find the best people. The best people won't be perfect because none of us are, but the best people will be very good at what they do and wholly committed to working with and for the people to create a strong, free country where we all have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Onward.
