How can I add to their happijness?

 When in doubt in any situation, one promising perspective is to focus on happiness. You may ask, In this situation, how might I elevate happiness?

I'm thinking about that with regard to a number of situations I'm connected with. Fortunately I have some time to devote to this question so what will I do?

Celebrations

There are a number of celebrations coming up. Since we're still following the pandemic safety guidelines, those gatherings will likely be intimate and outdoors. To add happiness to these celebrations means making delicious foods, purchasing or creating just-right gifts, and being present, positive, and helpful at the celebrations. Celebrations are the good times we look forward to and the times that often bind us together in meaningful ways.

Adventures

No matter the restrictions, you can still make time for adventure. For example, a loved one mostly has to use a wheelchair for lengthy excurisions, so the goal is to find some safe paved paths where we can wheel her on an adventure--that will be a joyful adventure for many of us. Backyard games can also be an adventure. No matter the parameters of any situation, you can figure out a way to bring adventure, and adventure heightens interest, intrigue, and camaraderie which are all positive. 

Real Time Support

Rather than words, do something that offers true support for individuals. What can you do to lighten their load?

Listening

Often, simply listening to another's struggles, pain, or needs, is the perfect way to create happiness. Many times people are not looking for answers, but instead to simply vent, and then that frees them somewhat and enables them to find the answers they are looking for. 

In any situation, finding, creating, and supporting happiness, is typically a good goal. That's what I'll focus on today. Onward.
