I enjoy stage setting which means I enjoy preparing places for good living. As an educator, I really enjoyed creating a classroom that fostered a love of learning, and in my new role, I'm enjoying creating spaces that foster good living, lively conversation, and camaraderie. When the life stage is set well, we live better.
With that theme in mind, I'll visit relatives today and work with them to set the stage for happy days ahead--days that include visitors, storytelling, shared meals, comfort, and happiness. What will we do?
First, we'll streamline by putting away unnecessary items--objects that are not needed at this time. We'll also place life's most essential objects center stage for easy use and access. We'll relook at decorations to highlight those that foster the best memories and happiness, and make sure we have the ingredients for good times ahead.
I want to do the same in my home. Setting up the creativity studio is a first step and organizing my adventure equipment is a second step--I'm looking forward to some enjoyable outdoor adventures in the days ahead--adventures that will require hiking boots, a tent, sleeping bags, bikes, and more.
Streamlining the arduous, less necessary items in life gives you time and sets the stage for life's better events--the kinds of events that invigorate us. That's what I'm about today. Onward.
