Pandemic final chapters: Find the fun!

We've weathered months of the pandemic, and for all of us there have been both wins and losses. Hopefully we are embarking on the final chapters of this pandemic, and with that in mind, I want to stay the course of safety, and I want my loved ones to stay this course too. Our good living and health are worth this commitment.

So as we continue to regard pandemic precautions with care, what silver linings and fun will we find in the weeks and months ahead?

Walks and adventures

We'll continue our quest to explore beautiful natural spaces via walking and other adventures. These outdoor adventures have been a lot of fun and a good way to connect with loved ones.

More ZOOM events

I'm not a big fan of ZOOM meetings, but I do like the way that ZOOM gatherings can bring together family from many corners of life to celebrate and connect. We'll continue these celebrations for special family events in the months ahead. By adding trivia, slideshows, and other themes to the ZOOM meetings, we've made them more interesting and interactive.

Creativity and share

Creating stories, websites, and images that highlight shared stories, dreams, and plans has enriched our online and real time conversation, investment, and living. I'll continue to engage in creativity such as the family history project, cookbook creation, writing, illustration, and gift making that creates this kind of connection.

Local travel and adventure

We're putting off big travel for both financial and safety reasons, but we'll engage in healthy, local travel that allows us to bike, hike, swim, boat, and explore in the months to come.

Cooking and gardening

We'll continue our quest to grow and cook healthy foods with recipes from around the world with the goal of healthy, delicious meals.

Family and friends

We'll look for opportunities to spend meaningful, positive, joyful times with family and friends.

There's a lot to look forward to in life, and if we continue to look for those silver linings, we'll find our way to this bright spots again and again.
