I hit a snag today as I worked to create my new creativity studio. Processes I thought would be easy were much more difficult. I spent hours figuring out tech isssues, and my vision for a day's work far outweighed my time and capacity.
All along the road of life we hit snags of all kinds--complexities that baffle, frustrate, and stymie us. And, when those snags hit, we are left with choices. We can give up? We can take a step back and re-evaluate, or we can simply persevere with one step ahead of the other.
In our too-often all-or-nothing culture, we're not that good at staying the course and working through problems. In many ways, we're a quick fix society, and that does us little good. The key is to take the time to think these snags through, make a plan, and move ahead. That's the best way, and that's where I'm headed.
