To make better, analyze and dissect first

Today I'll think about how I might better a situation I'm involved in. Since it's a day with time and clarity, I'll make the time to dissect the situation elements.

Who are the people involved? What do they want? What makes them happy?

As the authors of the book, Getting to Yes, might prescribe, I'll go hard on the problem, not the people, yet I'll start with the people--who are they, what do they want, and what will make them happy?

What capacity do we have available?

Who can help solve this problem? What individuals, agencies, tools, time, information, and locations can work to make the situation better?

Patterns and Plans

How can make plans and create patterns that create happiness and good effort in this realm?

Where do the snags, obstruction, and problems occur now?

What's holding us back from best performance? How can we change that?

Looking deeply at any situation with clarity and dissecting that situation, helps us to analyze what's working, what is not working, and how we can make it better. That's what I'll do today.
