For as long as I can remember, I've desired to be free of the constraints that bound me to life so tightly. You see, I took the cautious road to ensure I could pay the bills, do work that was meaningful, and be responsible. There's no regrets as that life turned out quite well, but always in the back of my mind was the desire to be free from this secure path, to embrace a more free and open road.
And now, that opportunity has come, and while I am so pleased with the advent of this new chapter, there's a temptation to choose the cautious path again. Instead, I will let the road lead me as I shore up my skill and strength for adventuring. Where will it take me--time will tell.
