As a young person, I didn't think a lot about a good night's sleep. My days were so full that the minute I laid down, I was out for a long time. Then as a parent of young children, there were years of craving a good night's sleep. There was always something getting in the way, and when I had the chance to finally rest for a long time, I did exactly that. Now at an older age, with time to get a good night's sleep, I am always in pursuit of that wonderful experience because I love the good energy that comes from a great night's sleep.
So I've been calculating what brings me this desired sleep including the right patterns of food, activity, companionship, and thoughts. It has been an interesting calculation with some missteps along the way. Capturing the perfect night's sleep one that includes awesome dreams and waking up filled with positive energy is the goal.
