There are pockets of positivity available to you that lift your spirits and put you on a positive path sooner than later. Typically if you have a number of projects and endeavor at play, one or more will likely be positive so you can shift your focus from a more dismal endeavor to a more positive endeavor.
That happened to me today. One project was facing excrutiating challenge that really brought me down, but then later in the day I got involved with another ongoing project that was fully positive and uplifting. That was so rewarding. If your focus is too narrow, a downturn can be much more devastating than if your focus is multidimensional with many paths and likely some more positive than others.
Identifying pockets of positivity whether they be people, activities, and other resources is a good idea too since those can be your go-to places when challenge and struggle strike. Further, just taking some time to immerse yourself in the challenge and struggle can help you to understand the meaning in the pain too and later move positively forward.
