This year, we're choosing not to spend a significant birthday with a loved one. While I'd like to be there with him, I know that the travel doesn't make sense given COVID-19 concerns, financial priorities, and other important factors. So instead, we'll send him a birthday box filled with treats and some small presents. This should bring his day happiness and cheer. Later on, we'll see this loved one and have a proper celebration.
