The days ahead - shifting direction

A recent decision to abandon a project that was meeting one roadblock after another has freed me. It was a good decision, but a decision not made lightly. I made that decision after trying multiple strategies that did not work.

That decision shifted the direction in difficult to detect, but significant ways.

Giving up is sometimes the right decision.

Now looking ahead, there is much to do.

Gardening

Our small vegetable garden brings us great pleasure and good nutrition through the summer and early fall days. There's lots of work to do to make this garden grow so that will be a focus.

Family

Family is a cornerstone of my life, and I want to do what I can to support a strong and loving family. There are always new challenges and opportunities in this arena, challenges and opportunities I'm ready to embrace.

Advocacy

I'm taking a bit of a back seat in this sphere right now as I focus more on family and home, but I'm still reading the news, commenting now and then, making a few donations, and readying for another big push ahead.

Strength

There's much to shore up in my personal life right now with regard to health so I'm spending a good deal of time on that. Hopefully this work will result in greater strength and the ability to move beyond myself into the greater community with good work and endeavor in the days ahead.
