Beware of characterizing people in too-narrow ways. People are not that simple and are the combination of many varied traits and interests. We characterize people narrowly we rob them of their ability to be fully human in our eyes, and we rob ourselves of their wonderful depth and diversity. Too often people that judge too harshly or quickly, judge with a too-narrow perspective. Beware of this danger.
