In my opinion, good care has the following components:
Timely, inclusive, detailed communication
Good communication saves time. While it may seem cumbersome to read details when there is a lot of information to share, in the long run, I believe it is better to know now than to be searching for those answers later when the information is buried.
Basic needs
Good care maintains that individuals have their basic needs of rest, nutrition, social life, housekeeping, and more.
Loose-tight scheduling
Positive patterns and schedules ensure that people have time to provide the care needed as well as time for their own lives, interests, and obligations.
Regular meetings, analysis, and revision
The opportunity to review the care giving regularly and update as needed.
Divide and conquer
It's optimal if caretaking teams can work together in ways that maximize people's talents, knowledge and availability.
